Product Description

1. Structural Composition
The FOG is mainly composed of the following core components:
Light source (usually a superluminescent light emitting diode SLD): provides light with low coherence to reduce coherent noise.
Fiber optic ring (a few hundred to a few thousand meters): used to guide the light propagation and create an interference effect.
Optical beam splitter (coupler): divides light into clockwise and counterclockwise directions.
Photodetector: receives the interfered light signal and converts it into an electrical signal.
Signal processing circuit: calculates the phase difference and outputs the angular velocity signal.
