Miniature ADIS16488 MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit Sensor with SPI Output

The 16488HA is a high-performance MEMS inertial measurement unit that combines a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer to deliver precise angular rate and acceleration data. With measurement ranges up to ±450°/s and ±20 g, featuring 0.3°/h gyro zero-bias instability and 0.25 mg accelerometer bias, this unit ensures exceptional accuracy for inertial navigation applications.

The sensor includes onboard compensation for temperature variations (-45°C to 85°C), installation misalignment, and nonlinear effects. Its SPI communication interface operates at 8-15 MHz, with a compact design, 1.5 W power consumption, 250 Hz bandwidth, and 0.1% cross-axis coupling. Ideal for UAVs, industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, robotics, and mobile mapping systems.
