The MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) integrates a three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer, temperature sensor, signal processing board, and supporting software. This advanced system measures three-axis angular rate, acceleration, and inclination angle of a carrier, outputting compensated data (including temperature, installation misalignment, and nonlinear compensation) through an RS-422 serial port using a standardized communication protocol.
