Composition and Function
The inertial measurement unit consists of a three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer, temperature sensor, signal processing board, structural components, and essential software. It measures the three-axis angular rate and acceleration of the carrier, outputting compensated data including temperature compensation, installation misalignment angle compensation, and nonlinear compensation through the UART serial port using the specified communication protocol.
